Trout CPA, a full-service certified public accounting and business consulting firm, is seeking a Business Valuation Leader to join its Business Valuation & Transaction Advisory Services Team in either a Senior Associate or Manager capacity. This individual will manage valuation projects, participate in M&A due diligence projects, conduct financial statement and valuation analysis, prepare industry and economic outlooks, write valuation and due diligence reports, and conduct specific valuation research projects in regards to the valuation and merger/acquisition of privately-held businesses for a variety of purposes.

Major responsibilities and duties include:

• Execute projects and services in business valuation analysis and mergers & acquisition
• Review and analyze financial information
• Perform valuation calculations
• Write valuation and due diligence M&A reports
• Analyze economic and industry conditions and how they affect a business 
• Review and summarize legal documents and client specific information

The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics required
• Five (5) or more years experience with a focus on valuation, M&A, financial analysis and research
• Currently hold or working toward at least one of the valuation credentials such as ABV, CVA or ASA
• Strong interest in new business development
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
